Several people have asked me about rebounding. What is it and how is it beneficial? I was introduced to rebounding by David Hall. David was at a Health and Wellness seminar I attended and I was amazed by his story, his fitness and his passion for rebounding.
Rebounding is the use of a quality small trampoline to bounce up and down and exercise the whole of your body at a cellular level. It uses gravity and the exertion of g-force instead of weights. Depending on how you bounce you can benefit certain areas of your body more than others but the whole body is involved in every bounce and so is included in each exercise.
My personal routine involves the use of music. I have prepared play lists of my favorite songs that I use to give me a rhythm to bounce to and to time my routine. An example of a typical routine for me is:
Abba – Waterloo = basic warm up by bouncing on the spot
Rock and roll is here to say from the movie Grease = sitting on the rebounder and bouncing to tone abdominals.
Eagles – Get over it = running on the rebounder, great for thighs and getting heart beat up.
Bon Jovi – It’s my life= bouncing on the spot
Get off the rebounder and stretch.
This takes me under 15 minutes every morning and sets me up for the day. It is the very first thing I do when I get up.
I invite you to check out the two websites I have listed and if you Google cellercise many more websites are available for you to investigate.
